Ivana Knoll a former Miss Croatia – who has been dubbed the World Cup’s “sexiest fan” – has defended her skimpy choice of clothing once again after being told to “wear an Abaya” in the Middle Eastern country.
Speaking to Piers Morgan, the brunette bombshell spoke out about her positive reception from locals, despite many Qatari people saying otherwise.
The model and social media influencer is known for her red and white checkerboard outfits in and out of the stadiums as she enjoys her World Cup experience.
Qatar is governed by a strict dress code that instructs locals and visitors to dress “modestly”.

When asked if her clothes had elicited any backlash in the Islamic country, the Croatia superfan said: “I’m very surprised and happy that they like my clothing. Many Qatari people take photos with me, even males and kids.

When asked why she decided to defy the strict dress code she has repeatedly violated in recent weeks, Ivana responded: “I respect every country that I go to. Locals confirmed that I could dress as I usually do. Because at the World Cup, they are making exceptions.
“I think that’s amazing – to accept each other’s differences.”
On Instagram – where the Croatia superfan has more than 2 million followers – she revealed just how popular her looks were. Sharing a clip of her being mobbed by male fans, Ivana posted: “My usual day in Doha looks like this.”
‘WEAR AN ABAYA’
Also appearing on the show was Qatari reporter Mohammed Hassan Al Jefairi, who claimed that Ivana’s World Cup look was not such a hit amongst locals.
He told Piers Morgan: “Many people are reporting her pictures. We see it as so strange to be here in Qatar wearing that. She probably doesn’t know about this”.
Mohammed then invited the beauty queen to wear an Abaya at the next match – Croatia vs. Argentina.
He added: “It will look really good on her.”
