WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT NADIA NAKAI AND BONANG
When Bonang Matheba made her debut on Young, Famous & African season two, she was given quite the frosty welcome from the gang. It seemed Khanyi Mbau seemingly sided with Nadia Nakai as she pulled her side and the duo eventually left Swanky’s event.
At the time of filming, Nadia was dating slain rapper AKA. AKA had previously dated Bonang and was accused of cheating on his “baby mama” DJ Zinhle with the media personality, while she was pregnant with their daughter Kairo Forbes.

KHANYI MBAU: ‘BONANG AND I AREN’T FRIENDS’
In a confessional, Khanyi revealed that she and Bonang were never really friends but just know each other because of the industry.
“Swanky, you cannot bring your friend’s boyfriend’s ex to a party without telling your friend that, that’s what you are going to do,” she said.
“Me and Bonang aren’t friends. It’s literally industry. I’ve never quite understood her. So, if I cannot figure you out, I create a distance because I can’t figure out who you are and that makes me uncomfortable,” she continued.
Bonang later left the Young, Famous & African gang’s WhatsApp group which upset Swanky. However, Nadia, Khanyi and Zari “The Boss Lady” Hassan were not willing to give it too much attention.
