On our TV screens, the new kid on the block, Londeka Sishi is someone to watch out for.
The 26-year-old is from Port Shepstone, KZN.
The actress received her big break in the TV business earlier this year when she was cast as Nkanyezi on Showmax’s Adulting.
Despite being relatively new to the entertainment world, Londeka Sishi—who is unrelated to previous SMag cover girl Ntobeko Sishi—is grateful to be pursuing acting, which is her genuine calling.

Londeka Shishi revealed that because of her rigid upbringing, she never considered pursuing an acting profession.
Londeka Sishi tried for a time to get into the acting world but after being turned down at auditions, she kind of gave up and concentrated on her business work.
Sishi had to move to Johannesburg in order to be near the set once the acting door she had been waiting for finally opened.
The past year, according to her, had been “an immediate overpowering transformation” that appeared unreal.

Londeka Sishi notes that she was more of a reserved youngster who wanted to stay to herself because she was the middle child among six siblings.
Londeka Sishi says that, out of all her siblings, she was reared by her great-great-grandmother, who had a major influence on the kind of artist she is today.
Londeka Sishi wishes to develop her acting abilities and push the limits of what she can do in the television and film industries now that she is a rising star.

Londeka Sishi claims that having her daughter saved her life
Up to the birth of her child, actress Londeka Sishi felt depressed and unwanted and wanted to end everything.
The Adulting actress talked openly with Zimoja about her desire to end her life because she felt hopeless and lost in life.
Before Showmax contacted the actress, Londeka Sishi was considering leaving since she wasn’t receiving any prospects. At the moment, her pregnancy was the only thing keeping her going.

“I remember that falling pregnant is the only thing that stopped me from killing myself. Before my daughter Liyana, who is now five years old, my life was not worth living.”
The actor has learned to not take on other people’s worries and make them her own in addition to fighting suicidal tendencies.
When Londeka Sishi gets overwhelmed, she no longer tries to speed through life; instead, she turns to prayer and meditation for solace.
She asserts that she has become more upbeat and cheerful about life.
